Shideler Skyvara Construction: Quality to the power of two.

How do I get the most out of my first meeting with you?

The best clients are those who have spent some time really figuring out what they want and also have a clear idea of their budget. Sometimes, the two don’t mesh and we can help clients bring them closer together during our discussions. Budget is probably the most important consideration as it impacts the whole project. We’ll also ask you about timing (when you want the project finished), if you already have plans/permits and if you have any special requirements, e.g. ‘green’ building materials.

We already have an architect/interior designer. How would you work together?

We work in partnership with architects and interior designers all the time and welcome the opportunity to work with new ones. We do recommend that you bring us into the process as early as possible. We can then identify any cost issues with design elements and work collaboratively to provide a cost-effective solution to fit your budget.

Can you help me find and order materials, appliances and other items for my project?

Definitely. Your architect or designer will also help you find materials. For clients who are sourcing their own materials, we can recommend suppliers that are reliable and provide excellent products. When it comes to ordering, we strongly recommend that you allow us to handle the process to ensure that everything arrives on schedule. We know how long certain items typically take and build that into our timetable. We stay on top of the details, double checking that the orders include all the necessary attachments and chasing suppliers as we get closer to delivery date. We also handle receipt of delivery of the items at the worksite while our clients are at work.
