Once the plans are approved, Shideler Skyvara Construction “pulls the permit” (that is, we handle the paperwork with the local building department) and building begins.
Bill and Zee will provide you with regular (often daily) updates on what’s happening on your project. Their key objective is to make sure that all parties (you, the architect, the sub-contractors, the building inspectors and anyone else involved in your project) all know who is doing what, when and in which order.
As project managers, we are the keepers of the project timeline. It’s our job to identify potential time delays or schedule conflicts. We’ll chase for deliveries, push sub-contractors and ensure timely inspections. We don’t want things to take a day longer than they need to.
We’ll also make sure that, at the end of each day, we leave you with a cleaned-up house. It might be our job site, but we never forget that it’s your home.
The quality of their work is great. They are upfront and accurate about costs and time. When it comes to quality and value, they are one of the best pairs I’ve seen around. They are efficient, honest and thorough. Their communications skill is what makes them different. Owners understand what they are saying and trust them more than most contractors I’ve seen. Bill and Zee are very easy to work with.
